FOSPA St Patrick's Summer Fete 2024:  Thank you all so much for coming along and  supporting Sunday's Fete. As always, the fete takes many hours of planning and very hard work; with input from the school staff, parents/carers and of course FOSPA members.  

 A massive thank you to the FOSPA Team. They work tirelessly to get the fete together, organise volunteers, organise  donations, request raffle prizes, arrange publicity, organise entertainment, arrange food and much more.  

Thank you to the school staff for your support throughout the event and helping us with the smooth running of this event.  Thank you to the parents/carers came along to help in setting up and those who stayed on to help with the clearing away.  Thanks also for all the generous donations of bottles, toiletries, plants, cakes and toys to the fete. 

New recruits are always welcome and needed as we will be losing Year 6 parents/carers!  No matter how much or how little time you can give, any time will be appreciated.   Look out for FOSPA meetings happening in the new academic year and come along. 

 Thank you to Danny, Mary and Anthony for the live music and songs that filled the air throughout.  Sahndra the amazing face painter and to Sergeant Jones and  his 45 cadets who helped with the event and worked at every stall.  The wonderful cadets  entertain in dance and parade, which see children of St Patrick’s took part, it made the school fete extra special even though it rained. 

MONEY RAISED ON FOSPA EVENTS GOES BACK INTO THE SCHOOL TO SUPPORT YOUR CHILDREN'S EDUCATION!!. THANK YOU.

Parents Visits to Classrooms

                                  Parent Visits to Classrooms: In response to feedback from parents, we have decided to stop our short Stay and Learn sessions on Thursday mornings and replace these with an extended drop in session once per half term. These will be on a Friday morning from 9-9.30am. The Drop-ins are an opportunity for you to visit your child’s classroom and take part in their learning in a subject area. Farewell Mrs Palmer

  Good luck and farewell Mrs Palmer after 25 years of excellent service! Mrs Palmer started at St Patrick’s in January 1999 as a Teaching Assistant.  She joined the Registered Teaching Programme (RTP) and her first teaching role was in Reception. Mrs Palmer has had many significant roles at St Patrick’s such as Religious Education Lead, Literacy Lead and Music Coordinator.  Currently she teaches music two days a week in school which she absolutely loves to do; this is where she comes alive with her joy of music and singing. Mrs Palmer’s collaboration with Waltham Forest Music Service has been amazing and has enabled our children to flourish in their musical abilities, from performing in borough-wide competitions and shows to becoming confident players of both the recorder and ukulele. One of her specialities is to rewrite the words of popular songs to celebrate teachers getting married, having babies, leaving, moving to new schools or celebrating milestones at St Patrick’s. Mrs Palme
