Resurrection Mass and Resurrection Gardens

Last Friday, Fr Freddy came into school to celebrate our whole school Resurrection Mass. It was a very joyous occasion in which we celebrated through the Word of God and singing, the resurrection of Jesus Christ our Saviour.

On display were a selection of beautiful Easter Resurrection Gardens made by our very creative children from Nursery to Year 6. These gardens were then taken over to Our Lady of The Rosary and St Patrick’s Church to go on display so that the parish community could also see them.

During the Gospel Assembly on Monday morning, all children who made a garden were presented with a special certificate of achievement, acknowledging all of their hard work and creativity. A raffle also took place and the winner from each class received an Easter egg.

  "FIRST HOLY COMMUNION 2024 :  Application forms are available (Church porch) for children who will be in Year 4 in September who wish to make their First Holy Communion in 2024. Please ensure you have a completed application form, with a copy of your child’s baptismal certificate attached. ONLY APPLICATION FORMS WITH A COPY OF BAPTISMAL CERTIFICATES WILL BE ACCEPTED. The deadline for application forms is Sunday 24th September.  All parents are invited to attend the First Holy Communion Meeting on Saturday 23rd September at 11am in the Church. Information about the program will be given on the meeting and there will be an opportunity to buy Communion text books and a Bible. The first lesson will be in the Church on Saturday 30th September at 1pm. We are looking for parents of FHC children who are happy to be teachers and co-ordinators. "
