Swimming Festival

Eight children ended the first week back at school with an aquatic adventure. The intrepid, but not yet proficient swimmers enbraced the challeges set for them by WFSSN at the Year 5/6 Water Confidence Festival.

As they delved into the realm of water confidence, the children took part in activities and races, with their'noodles' (floats) supporting their aquatic dreams. They swam on their fronts and backs, every stroke a testament to their growing confidence in the water.

The afternoon's excitement reached it's crescendo when they and  other children from the across the borough united and embarked on a 'beat the clock- treasure hunt'.

Within the walls of Leytonstone Swimming Pool the sound of fun and laughter echoed through the air. They left the pool at the end of the day with the invaluable treasure of new friendships and newfound water confidence.
