Crowning of Mary
Crowning of Mary: In school on Wednesday 08th May 2024 we crowned Our Lady The Queen of May. We held a very special whole school liturgy service in the hall, during which our Year 5 and 6 children told the story of Mary and her journey to being the most Blessed Mother of all time. We all then went outside to the peace garden where our younger children presented Mary with many wonderful floral tributes. One of our Reception children then crowned Mary with a garland of flowers and Father Freddy blessed the whole school. Thank you to our ever-generous school community for sending in the most lovely flowers to present to Mary. All of the adults and children sang and read the Word of God beautifully. The sun shone down on us all as we did to make it even more joyous! Waltham Forest Dance Showcase: In the heart of Waltham Forest, where creativity intertwines with rhythm, and passion takes flight on the wings of dance, there exists a momentous event that transcends boundaries and unites souls: The Waltham Forest Dance Showcase. On this promising Tuesday, 26th March, our hearts quickened with excitement as we, the St Patrick’s Dance Troupe, were due to converge with dancers from schools across the borough at Frederick Bremer Secondary School. Each step we took echoed with anticipation, a prelude to the harmony we were about to create on stage. Our day started with our final rehearsal, which we performed in front of the headteacher and our deputy headteacher. Both were impressed with the dance. Mr Protsiv loved the energy and said he couldn't stop smiling; the energy had supercharged him with happiness. After our final rehearsal, we were wished luck; Miss Allen left us with "Make us proud."
