William Greaves Trophy – Mixed Primary School Competition: Capital Kids Cricket has established itself as a catalyst for positive change within schools, and St. Patrick's is proud to have developed club links with this influential charity. Capital Kids Cricket goes beyond the school environment, offering pathways into the world of cricket through their clubs designed specifically for young people. Notably, the children of St. Patrick's have received invitations to two distinct clubs—one catering to a mixed audience and the other exclusively for girls. This inclusive approach  underscores the organisation's commitment to diversity and ensures that cricket is a sport for everyone. The anticipation is building at St. Patrick's as Capital Kids have invited us to take part in the William Greaves Trophy- Mixed Primary Cricket Competition in  January, we will be putting in some training for that! Furthermore, we eagerly look forward to six weeks of cricket coaching from Capital Kids Cricket during the upcoming summer term. This initiative promises to enhance our children’s skills and passion for cricket, creating a lasting impact on their overall development.

Farewell Mrs Palmer

  Good luck and farewell Mrs Palmer after 25 years of excellent service! Mrs Palmer started at St Patrick’s in January 1999 as a Teaching Assistant.  She joined the Registered Teaching Programme (RTP) and her first teaching role was in Reception. Mrs Palmer has had many significant roles at St Patrick’s such as Religious Education Lead, Literacy Lead and Music Coordinator.  Currently she teaches music two days a week in school which she absolutely loves to do; this is where she comes alive with her joy of music and singing. Mrs Palmer’s collaboration with Waltham Forest Music Service has been amazing and has enabled our children to flourish in their musical abilities, from performing in borough-wide competitions and shows to becoming confident players of both the recorder and ukulele.   Year 6 Leavers Prayers   Ernie 6M: Lord, we thank you for the support of our parents throughout the years. We hope that they know how much we appreciate them. Although sometimes we might have difficulty showing it, we pray they know how important they are to us. Dumkene 6J: Lord, we pray for the staff of our school. We thank them for their support and guidance throughout our time in primary school. May they continue to guide and support all who pass through this school. Zuzanna 6M: Today is a special day for giving thanks. We pray that we will be more thankful in life and always include Jesus in our daily lives. We pray that we will always have the ability to show love and forgiveness as Jesus taught us. Efenoma 6J: We think of all the friends we have made while at primary school.
