Crowning of Mary
Crowning of Mary: In school on Wednesday 08th May 2024 we crowned Our Lady The Queen of May. We held a very special whole school liturgy service in the hall, during which our Year 5 and 6 children told the story of Mary and her journey to being the most Blessed Mother of all time. We all then went outside to the peace garden where our younger children presented Mary with many wonderful floral tributes. One of our Reception children then crowned Mary with a garland of flowers and Father Freddy blessed the whole school. Thank you to our ever-generous school community for sending in the most lovely flowers to present to Mary. All of the adults and children sang and read the Word of God beautifully. The sun shone down on us all as we did to make it even more joyous!
